Portrait Art

I paint portraits for a number of reasons, whether I find someones story inspiring, because they have an interesting look, maybe the way the colors and the light reflects on their skin tone like glass and even for a commission. I find I learn something new about humanity and something new about myself every time I complete a portrait.

Commission a Portrait - Pricing and Process

Head/shoulder Portrait

  • Includes background and photo session. We will choose the reference photo together as a collaboration to come up with your ideal Portrait Painting. Pricing is subject to the amount of detail included for example detailed fabrics, jewelry and backgrounds all factor into determining the final price.

  • Starts at $2400 then goes up in pricing depending on detail and complexity of reference image used.

Half figure including hands and background

  • Hands and Background included. Each additional figure would cost an additional 25% per person. We will choose the reference photo together as a collaboration to come up with your ideal Portrait Painting. Pricing is subject to the amount of detail included for example detailed fabrics, jewelry and backgrounds all factor into determining the final price.

  • The Price varies depending on complexity of the subject. Pricing includes background and hands.

3/2 to full length Portrait

  • We will choose the reference photo together as a collaboration to come up with your ideal Portrait Painting. Pricing is subject to the amount of detail included for example detailed fabrics, jewelry and backgrounds all factor into determining the final price. Additional 25% per added subject.

  • Starting fee includes background, and photo shoot. We will decide on reference image collaboratively.
